Unacceptable Items include tires, batteries, liquid waste and appliances with Freon.

We can leave the container on site for up to 7 days - the customer must call for removal. For periods longer than 7 days, a rental charge per day may apply.

How many tons will the dumpster hold?

This varies on how heavy the debris is and how tightly is it loaded. Typical weights go between 2-5 tons.

Will rain make the load heavier?

On some items, like upholstered furniture, drywall and cardboard, the debris will absorb water. The customer may obtain a plastic sheet at a hardware or paint store to deflect the rain/snow. On other loads, like shingles and metal, there is virtually no difference.

What is liquid waste?

Anything that pours – paint – oil – antifreeze.

How do you get rid of paint?

For small amounts, simply throw in some cat litter to absorb the liquid or possibly paint some of the other debris you’re disposing of, just to use it up. For larger quantities, contact a major paint store or a charitable group, such as Habitat for Humanity.

How do you dispose of concrete?

For loads consisting only of concrete, we can recycle it at a clean fill site. We use a 10yd container. If there is any other debris, the ENTIRE LOAD will be charged at trash rates.

Will the container hurt my driveway or lawn?

It is up to the customer to find a suitable location for the container – CHES-MONT DISPOSAL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SURFACE DAMAGE!

How do you determine the total weight?

All loads are weighed at the disposal site. Such weights are made by weighmasters certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, on certified scales.
